How to Redirect Users after Successful Login in WordPress without using and plugin
It’s a very common situation when you providing login to your user in WordPress Site. When any user login to a WordPress site, the default action is to redirect them to the WordPress admin dashboard. This is fine if you are the site admin or the user needs access to the admin but what about when you don’t want your site’s users to be able to access the admin dashboard. WordPress core does not provide a way to redirect users.
To Redirect Users after Successful Login in WordPress, I personally recommend you don’t need to install any plugin. You can hook a simple code snippets in your theme function.php file.
Just go to your function.php file and paste this code at the very bottom.
function admin_default_page() {
$redirect_to = ‘https://your-link-to-be-redirect’;
}
add_filter(‘login_redirect’, ‘admin_default_page’);
Same if you wish to Redirect user after Log Out to site see “Redirect User to Home page or any other page after logout ” Post.
